I retired this year and wanted to find a volunteer role. 

I was looking for something that would resonate with me. Many years ago my daughter had a breakdown and at that time there was nothing like the Butterfly effect in our area. I’m sure her recovery would have been a completely different experience for her and for our family if she had the support from an organisation like this.

I’ve been volunteering since March and love it. The atmosphere in the bungalow is like nothing I’ve experienced before in a volunteer role. 

Seeing the difference it makes to the people that use the facilities is heartwarming.
