Emma
Operations Manager
I have known about Butterfly Effect WELLbeing since it first started, and have always admired the dedication of Angie, her staff and volunteers. When the opportunity arose for this role, I jumped at the chance to be a part of the service.
I have a history in elderly care, mental health, alcohol and substance misuse, and social prescribing. I am experienced in working with vulnerable people living with multiple complex needs and I am passionate about delivering good quality care and support. I recognise that there is not always one thing that can impact a person’s mental health, but that several factors can have a massive impact on somebody’s wellbeing, and I like to try to address and support these areas so that people do not feel that they have to cope alone.
I try to have a good home/life balance and make time for myself, enjoying running, swimming, cycling, strength and conditioning. Open water swimming is one of my favourite pastimes and I like to travel to different lakes or seaside resorts.
I’m looking forward to getting involved, making positive steps forward and getting to know those that attend the hub.
