June blog

Hope you are doing well. As things start to open up again, I know a lot of people are struggling to get back to the new “normal”, especially for those that have been shielding. I have been posting daily tips and quotes on the page and Facebook group and I know from some of the feedback, this has helped. I am so pleased to announce that the support and social groups are now able to start from the 22nd of June. On the 22nd we will just have a bit of a re-opening celebration, to allow people to come and have a look around and a chat. This is a group that I am allowing space for, but it is as much your group, so please do share some ideas of what you would like from this time. There are activities to partake in and some arts and crafts. If you would like to just come in and sit and have a coffee and read that is also fine, sometimes its nice to be around people and not interact. I just want it to be a comfortable space for you to come into if you are struggling or for just the social aspect, to help you after the last year. I am currently talking to a few people to come in to give talks on different subjects too, these will be posted on the Facebook and Instagram page.

The support groups will take place every Tuesday 11am-1pm and are free to attend, there is a donation box, if you wish to donate towards tea/coffee and cakes.

Also, a reminder of the Meditation with reiki drumming every Tuesday 9.45am-10.45am and 7pm-8pm. These sessions have a £5 exchange. This is a great time to relax, enjoy and helps to reduce stress when practised regularly, with the added bonus of the beautiful reiki drum, which has so many health benefits.

All sessions to be held at David Livingstone hall, Potter Street, Harlow, Essex, CM17 9AE.

Please do contact me with any questions or if you need any help getting to the sessions, as I know if you are feeling anxious this can prove difficult to go somewhere new and I will try my upmost to help you get to the session. Take care and please reach out if you are struggling.
