December blog

Hope you are all well. Wow what a year it has been. Thank you to everyone that voted for me, to have this wonderful opportunity and share what we are doing and all that we hope to achieve. We had the Holistic fair in November and raised just over £1500. Thank you to all that came and supported us. All the funds are going towards opening a little drop-in centre. We aim to provide a safe and friendly space to be able to come to for help, the social aspect and will be offering holistic therapies at reasonable prices, advice on healthy eating and all aspects of wellbeing. I believe that with healthy eating and a healthy approach on life through mindfulness, we can achieve quite a bit and am really looking forward to being able to share that with you.

We have a few holistic fairs booked in for next year at the GPCA. Do put them in your diary. These are 10th April, 3rd September, 3rd December 2022. Do look out for other fundraiser events.

We are holding guided meditations with reiki drumming every Tuesday at 9.45-10.45am and 7-8pm (£5 a session), social and support groups 11.30am-1pm every Tuesday (free) and am now offering sound baths once a month on a Sunday evening 6-7.30pm and Monday 10-11.30am (£11.37 through Eventbrite). Please message/phone or look on Facebook page for further details and dates for sound baths. All monies raised from these go towards the centre and funding the project. I currently do not take any money for holding these sessions.

We are also bringing SOBS (Survivors of bereavement by suicide) meetings to Harlow in March 2022. This has been very close to my heart, as they helped me when we lost mum. It will be my privilege to be able to help others. I also find it helps a great deal, being able to talk to people who have lived the experience.

Please do get in contact if you need help, do not suffer in silence. I know how hard it is to reach out when you are in this situation. I have been in that place and it is not nice, you feel as if nobody is there and no one cares, believe me I DO and I will do my upmost to help you. Always know you are worthy and you are loved and you can get out of most situations with help. Just please ask.

Sending so much love to all that need it
